Debbie and I got into making kites as a science experiment for the kids home schooling and it has turned into a big time hobby. It is a great cure for stress. This is the Kite Debbie made me. An 18 foot double box delta. This is the kite that got the ball rolling for me. I have made several kites since then. |

You can see my oldest son and Debbie letting go of the kite here. We test all our kites in this park by our home. In fact all first flights are done here. |

This is my 15 foot Single box delta. It is the first kite I made. |

Same kite in the air. The tail used to be 107 feet long, but I decided to break it into three tails instead. |

This Kite ( a Mockfoil) was a challenge. It was one of the hardest kite I built, but one of the most rewarding. I use it to lift my 32 foot windsock. (shown below) |
| My 32 foot windsock which was a major undertaking. When I was sewing it the kids had a laugh since you couldn't see me while I was sewing it due to so much fabric around me. Plus it had a thousand feet of seams. Also in this picture you can also see Herb's double box delta with five tails. | |

I love the colors in this picture. A friend took this picture at a Fun Fly at Ocean Shores Wa. |

Another picture of the same event. This picture also has a picture of Kathy's (a friend from work) kite, the little flow form in the distance. |
